Every day people are living lives based on convictions they later conclude were not really true to them. That’s basically not a problem – making mistakes is part of life. The problem becomes clear when it dawns on us that we were never open enough to really challenge our convictions – we became stagnated and cocksure. Life is not about knowing – it’s about moving minds, words, emotions and actions in our lives… right to the end.

Not connected
This also spreads into how we do business, treat other people and perceive the “universe” in general. We interpret that we are better or worse human beings based on our results or the lack of them. But being successful or being a failure is not connected directly with value, when we dare to see the human race as also being a spiritual being. Not a spiritual being in the common terminology of something religious – but in the sense that you are leave “something” behind every time you leave; you’re kind of still there – both in the context of leaving a meeting, leaving your family and yes….. leaving life.

When you leave, what you left is taking on its own life…. imagine that, don’t lie to your self, are you proud?

There is something more valuable
Basically you could read this text and think some few thoughts. You could think Christian Campbell is a strange being or you might even get moved by the words. No matter what you decide, this text is written with a purpose: I wrote this because everywhere I meet people, it seems like the most fulfilled humans somehow, in their own way, see beyond their own convictions and start caring about the impressions, the moods and maybe even the love they leave behind.

Never the brilliant
I have spoken with dying people in a hospice. I have spoken with extremely successful business people. I have spoken with “ordinary” people and I have sat with them all one-on-one, no one else around to make an impression on – and when it comes down to what really, really is creating breakthroughs……. it’s never the brilliant business plan we end up talking about. It’s never what makes someone happy on a personal level we are talking about – it’s always about what we left behind through our lives…. and often later builds the most amazing businesses and lives.

This was to you
So I wrote this to leave you with something. Something both my personal and professional life taught me is key….

I wish you and your love ones a happy New Year 🙂

Develop the business
Let’s get to it! Over the last two to three months I have been involved in quite a few conversations regarding personal development and business. Sometimes, as the geek I am in the psychology area, I might oversee some important information that to me became implicit, but to others is not. This leads to a really important and crucial point.

No movement or transformation
Often it is postulated that you need personal development to become successful. That is not the case. For instance: many, many business people meets and transcendence the expectations to earn money. That’s fairly called business success. The problem occurs when you get successful and do not transform that into personal development!

Your dignity
When you become successful and that success turns into arrogance, know-all attitude and it might even nourish your existing “bad sides” – well, it doesn’t take away you success; it takes away your dignity. So congratulations on the money, but what’s the point? Success is really not that difficult – to grow from it is (Sorry for this one, of cause there is more to it than this).

With great success comes great responsibility
When you become successful other people is starting to watch you, follow you, try to be you and copy what you do. That is you legacy! And to ensure you legacy you need personal development.

Require development
To become successful you need something different. You need to unwarp your self. To get more knowledge and insight into whom you are, and how you can capitalise on that. But basically that does not require any development, or personally change, so to speak.

Here is the wrap-up
If you want to use your success to create personal development – that is amazingly powerful…. And with that said, the people who are mixing success and personal development together, are often the ones who become extremely successful. But you don’t have to, to become fairly successful.

Once upon a time in Austin Texas, Ray Kroc, the Founder of McDonalds was hanging out drinking a few beers, with the MBA Class, whom which he earlier the same day had been speaking. He asked the students a fairly simple question in which no one answered so he had to ask again: “What business am I in?”

A student gave the obvious answer, which wasn’t the right one! Hear the right one, and how that can change the game of your business in this blog post!

So what did they answer?
After some goofing around one of students replied: “Everybody knows you are in the hamburger business!” And Ray responded: “That’s what I thought you would say, but I’m not in the hamburger business. Ladies and gentlemen, my business is real estate!”

What business are you in?
Rays insight in his own business is pretty logical, plain simple, when we hear it. Nevertheless I have entered many, many companies and asked a similar question: ”What business are you in?” and in 95% of the cases people start talking about the “burgers”, the product! But no business is in the business of its product – and that is a key point in the struggle of standing out and creating a significant breakthrough!

The most important factor!
What McDonald’s master better than most others – is easy! Being the costumer is easy. Understanding the concept is easy. Taking a food decision is easy…. And FINDING a McDonald’s is easy. McDonald’s basically “wrapped easy” to its costumers! And this is why Ray said his business is real estate! Of cause there is also some technicalities in the real estate mind-set, but the right street corner is only the right one be cause it fits the costumers, and that’s why McDonald could sell anything other than burgers there also – the product is basically not the most important factor.

Is easy for every one?
It’s also easy being an employee at McDonald’s. The concept is clear! The expectations are clear! The training is clear! McDonald’s really wrapped easy! But easy is not for every one?

What are you wrapping?
But one thing is what McDonald’s is wrapping – the interesting question is: What are you wrapping? Do you get your business? And do as many as possible costumers get it? I have said this before, but no matter how successful or not you and your business are today, the basic principle of business is to generate more….. more success!

All this is why the breakthrough.now principle for mind-sets are so powerful – the 180 degree principle. The principle that helps us to GET what business we are in, and how to wrap it so costumers desires it! Do you want to learn that, and share it with the world? To wrap easy, hope and meaningfulness into own products and services?

Breakthrough.now provoke you and push you to get it – if you dare!? You can reach me on +45 25697772!

Thank you – Please share J
I want to thank you fore reading my blog – you are very important to me. I mean – who am I if no one is listening? Thank you!

Change occurs by automatics! Change is a fundamental law of life and everything in life! Change is unavoidably! Change will be here weather you do something active to change, or you sit in apathy on your couch at home. Be smart – forget about change!

Translate changes
What you (if having influence on the future interests you) have to focus on is being smart. And what does it mean being smart? Being smart is growing and refining your toolbox of skills that can catch and translate changes into something understandable. Change scares people, on average the person or the business who truly cares about this will win – guarantied!

Accessible and meaningful
This specific point is why I the last 10 years have shared the breakthrough.now-system, with as many people as possible. To breakthrough is not just wrapping changes into something fancier or more sellable – no; a breakthrough means picking up changes and translating them into something physical, accessible and meaningful.

Your core relevance
Change basically just means that life is different today from yesterday! And different itself has absolutely no value to people in general, weather they occur as friends, customers, spouses or employees. A breakthrough on the other hand is the point where something becomes relevant, valuable and present. So if you chose smart, you need to unpack your own skills and your business core relevance, in the eyes of your present and potential costumers.

As many as possible
You are the one who need to get confused, insecure and in doubt. Not just for the sake of you feeling wrong! No! The reason and the point is simple – if you want to be smart; do the work! Figure it out! Endure the confusion! And then sell what you find to as many people as possible!

That’s smart!

You get access
So how are you doing what you preach Christian Campbell? You may fairly ask! My answer is clear: I got obsessed with the breakthrough process 20 years ago! I have spent ALL my time since to boil the process down to something understandable! I know it works! And now I sell it to you – I offer you access!

How?
I push you! I provoke you! I challenge you! Why? Because I trust you to be worthwhile: to draw all you can become out of you, to extract the full core value out of your business and translate that into something your customers desire to buy. The key is to get into the minds of your receivers, your customers – basically people you wish to touch. The breakthrough.now-system offers and provides to you all the things you can do NOW!

Lets look to Nike: Just do it! I would say: Just do it NOW!

What now?
Next week you get access to a video, where I give you 14 minutes of insights on how to be this kind of pioneer!

Some hundred years ago, in the western world, we started a “rational” journey toward sense, linear logics and proven based decision-making. This nerdy fact can be the difference for you – between a business-life wasted or a business adventure lived – just ask Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, about that!

How? And where is the scapegoat fitting in, in all this? Read much more here!

Are there really a cause and an effect?
Let me start with the end result: Every time something “turns wrong” in business, we have built in this tendency of an implied logic that someone is to blame. We believe that there is a cause and an effect, and that our finest job is to identify who is the scapegoat – who is to blame?!

Picture perfect
But going back to our western journey towards logic, measuring the data and considering the facts. Based on what we “know” about humans; no one can overview the full picture. So in reality it’s a waste of time to try. Our human ability to focus on data is extremely limited and mixed up with our new-found narcissism, that believes the individual is the centre of the universe, the root cause of creativity and the King of attraction, we are in many contexts lost.

Well the conclusion is; it’s never about whose to blame, but much more about; what’s in “the air” right now? Who can tab into future trends? And do we have the ability to nourish creativity?

Find a scapegoat
Last month august 2013; Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, announced he has planed his own retirement, within the next 12 months. And immediately the market reacted. Not all, but many voices spoke up regarding the resent downhill direction of Microsoft, blaming Ballmer for this trend. In the same breath the people blaming Ballmer insist to be some of the big thinkers!

The brand was strong
Microsoft is a gigantic company – one that “back in the day” was one of the frontrunners in the tech branch, a company that divided the waters and forced everyone to have a clear opinion about it. The brand was strong! Now the air became stagnated. The mood is historic and creativity left with the frontiers leaving after becoming millionaires. Is Ballmer to blame? What’s the difference?

The BIG thinkers
Business success in the future is not about rock stars, single individuals, but much more about usability and relevance. You win by leaving the believe-system that one person makes the difference alone. Microsoft, with or without Ballmer, needs to attract the big thinkers – the real big thinkers. The people who don’t care about blame but are committed to a future Microsoft renewed, modern and relevant.

What can you do – now?
And how can you learn from Ballmer, the critics and Microsoft? Never forget your customers! Never surrender to being content! Always stay inspired and deny every mind-set that excludes opportunities and prefers finding a scapegoat. Think big, talk big, feel big and act big! That’s how the breakthrough.now-system is implemented.

Of course it creates strong attention and turmoil when Jeff Bezos (Founder at Amazon.com) makes a move, such as buying the Washington Post. Gabe Stein writes on fastcolabs.com; “It’s not a coincidence that billionaires keep buying newspapers. Warren Buffett has been buying them up for the last year, and last week, Red Sox owner John Henry bought the Boston Globe.” That is an interesting “thing”, but what is the point – seen from the link between psychology and business angle, what can you learn from it?

Make the investment right
Let me get straight to the point! Business is not about finding the right investment, its about making our investments right. How to make the investments right of course has several key factors, but most important is to get what is means, to make our investments right.

Sense of how to impact
Making the investment right starts with perception. How do we see the world? When someone with a vision invests in something, they have a clear idea of how they want the world to develop in the future. They have some sense of how they are going to impact the world in that direction, and they NEVER buy the status quo. They are not buying to wait, they are buying to act. This is how an investment is made right!

What are you having in mind
So when Mr. Bezos is investing in the Washington Post, and we trust him to be a visionary, he is not buying what you and I see – he is investing in his vision, and that will contain something different. But one thing I think is worth having in mind, is that newspapers contains something similar to books, but in a different shape, human knowledge!

So the point for anyone who did not buy the Washington Post is the following; what do you know that can make you make you investments right?

When no one else wants it
When trying to replicate the successes of Bezos, Buffett, Gates, Jobs and other business messiahs, we are actually doing the total opposite of what they are doing – we replicate instead of create! I mean Bezos is buying Washington Post when “no one else wants it” – when the talk in general is writing of newspapers. The present owners of “The Post” had to realize, 2013 will the 7th year in a row with declining business. He is minding his own business, not being part of the general trend, but BEING the trend. Suddenly newspapers are the exciting news. What happened to newspapers? Nothing – it’s all about psychology and how it links to business.

What is the value of that
Making the investment right claims true knowledge, not just the ability to analyze the here and now conditions. Look at the Facebook stock. What happened? The stock came out, big fuss; a lot of opinions and talks about the company’s ability to sell adds and create revenues? The current and stagnated mindset of online earnings is centered around selling adds and if the “great visionary” is on, the knowledge Facebook has on everyone of us. But what about the impact Facebook has on our lives? What about the emotions the product provides to the social network market? What about the connections people create being part of the Facebook? And what about the people working at Facebook ability to making the investment right? What is the value of that?

Most important
So can Bezos make something right out of the Washington Post? Time will tell! But most important, are you systemizing your knowledge and putting it into action in a sense that makes the world believe your business and your products is the right investment?

It’s no secret – I believe we are in the middle of a shift of paradigm in business. What is really comforting is that we have well tested tools we can put into action to help us benefit and prosper from this shift. The challenge: most of the tools has been developed and tested in contexts and environments, that most business people are not well wandered in. Go for a powerful walk with me, in the land of not knowing.

“The new reality and standards”
Certainty seems to be a common need in most business and humans for that matter. We like to know stuff and that also engenders the urge to spend time predicting the future. We often calm ourselves by reading yesterdays news, take a stand based on what we read and identify ourselves as action oriented professionals.
We tie the knot on the necktie, put on a serious face – everything is now in order, we can go business as usual by preaching we are facing “the new reality and standards”. All is safe and we KNOW what to do.

The “secret” treasure
But not every business plays by these rules anymore. Something has changed – a new bread of businessmen- and women are entering the stage. This article is for the new business bread and the few “old-schoolers” whose experiences “really” have shown them that change is unavoidable. The treed is the “secret” treasure of the mind, when it just doesn’t know.

Philosophical efforts
Let me tell you a personal and exotic story, a personal and exotic story about a powerful transformation. A powerful transformation that shows how mind can control matter, and how that matters in business.
I was a young, fit and ambitious taekwondo fighter. I didn’t create any significant results as a point-fighter, but I gave it my best and trained insanely. As a part of the more philosophical part of my efforts I participated in a Zen Retreat mostly because my great grandmaster insisted that it would be a good idea to do.
A Zen Retreat is conducted in silence, under strict discipline, by a tight schedule and contains a serious amount of sitting meditation. During the days my knees started to hurt. The hours of non-moving sitting was starting to get to me.

The Zen Master
My mind took off; “what if I hurt my knees so bad I cant fight anymore?” “Do I risk my future moving ability?” There was no end to my fear and I also started disturbing the others participants by breaking the silence and ramping on about my concerns.
I didn’t know what to do. I wasn’t a good Zen Student. Suddenly it struck me; “Everyday we have our interview with the Zen Master, and he always ask if I have any questions – I can ask him, and he can deliver a good solid go-away-pain-technique.” I was relieved….. I did know what to do next.

Imposed him my anguish
After all the ritual bowing and greetings I sat in front of the Zen Master, and as predicted he asked me if I had any questions and I imposed upon him with a detailed passion about my anguish. He listened to me narration and after a split second he answered “If your knee hurts you could stand up.”
Flabbergasted I replied; “is that it?” and he gently replied; “If that doesn’t help you can ask the meditation leader to have a chair – was that all?” My mind was passive as had it suffered a electro chock and within 5 seconds I found my self walking back to the meditation hall. I sat without moving and with no pain for the rest of the full retreat.

No more pain, no more thinking
What happened was simple; I didn’t have any clue what so ever what was going on and my mind was forced to accept the “not knowing” part. That acceptance meant no more pain, no more thinking, no more talking – just sitting still with a strong intensity which made me learn a variety of significant thinks about my self. But most important of all – I learned to hold a “don’t know mind”, a mind that does not struggle to understand.

Not knowing is not the answer to everything in life or in business. But what a strong “don’t know mind” can do to creativity and what kind of solutions and ideas it makes us come up with – that can at times taste miraculous and genius.

Write to a close
Certainty often feels good. Knowing feels empowering. But feeling good isn’t a guarantee we succeed in life. Feeling good is rarely the counter strike to changing markets or to decreasing revenue.
It is tempting going to the issue with a subconsciously business as usual approach, but if you really knew the “reasons why”, it would not be happening, you would have prevented it. Business Unusual in this context is a mind-set willing to integrate the power of not knowing the future and by that opening up the possibility to be one of those, who is shaping the future.

You could get struck by genius if you dare!

Is it because it’s trendy, is it because it makes me part of the apple family, or is it because it’s a commercial success? Neither – and I believe you should love it to!

Beautiful and simple
Every time I pick up my iPhone I’m reminded of a really important thing; not everything is possible! You might find that statement awkward or directly stupid, but stay with me. The iPhone regardless of our emotions towards Apple as a company or Steve Jobs as person (R.I.P) has taught us all a lesson. Something beautiful, simple and innovative makes everything possible.

What would instantly happen
Again and again people hunts for success and prosperity and during that they forget to change the world along the way. Change the world? Yes! Beautiful makes things likeable, simple makes it understandable and useable, and innovative makes it inspiring. Imagine that your product or services come across as Likeable, understandable/useable and inspiring! What would instantly happen…. You would change the world for your costumers.

The reason why
I love my iPhone because it has taught me – in action – to keep things beautiful, simple and innovative. Every time I answer a call my focus is enhanced and my eye is thrilled. So without complicated formulas and high powered philosophy it is possible to change the world and make something better. Will someone out there reward you for that….. I believe so!

Make life beautiful, simple and innovative
Don’t make thinks complicated. Don’t ask people what they want, give them something innovative. Care about how products or services appear. Help others and they will help you. Don’t hunt success or prosperity it will run away as any other prey.

All is good!

Sometimes, when life is passing by, we recognize that not all the things our heart tells us, is actually coming from the heart. Our mind is playing its game on us, and the difference between our thoughts and emotions seems a blur.

Life as a pool
“I have to say this”, “I need to say this” and “I want this and that” – all feels authentic, strong and convincing. But as our “young convictions” has the nature of daydreams, our “old ones” has the nature of stones. They are hard, heavy and dragging us down. We experiences life as a pool in which we are drowning, but in reality we are choking by our own mindsets. Yes, there is water in the well, but we don’t have to hop in there, and blame the world for its “unfair circumstances”.

The heart can never be broken. The reason is quite simple, the material in which its build of don’t break. Our expatiations, dreams and hopes sometimes break down, but it doesn’t mean, that our heart is broken. Of cause it’s “just” a picture drawn by words that has the task of explaining a specific human experience. But it has nothing to do with a broken heart.

Teaching about life
“Love hurts” or “who needs a heart, when a heart can be broken” is words, sung into our minds by unique and amazing artists. But a beautiful voice bears no guarantee of spoken truth. We all cry, love, hate, succeeds and fails. It is a part of life, and why should the “universe” give us the ability to do those, if the hidden meaning behind it has only the perspective of despair? Is the universe friendly or not might have some importance to ask one selves.

Being “heart broken” is part of the human journey to destination joy. So then we experience the feeling called “heart broken”, the universe is in reality teaching us about life. Do we stay, hanging out with the teaching or do we pick it up and move on – it’s all in our mind!

– the Mis-matchers guide to messing things up!

Don’t you just hate when people are just not listening or when your boss just doesn’t get it? This article is the perfect guide for the mis- matcher to ensure that life just doesn’t work. Enhance your ability to mess everything up.

When they deliver
If you are still here, I’m a little surprised or am I? We all claim to desire a better life, business or whatever, but still the “bad news” is a crucial selling point in the news industry. So how come we all want better things to happen but the tabloids and magazines sell well, when they deliver the killings, wars and negative forecasts?

The idea that I can eat unhealthy food and stay healthy is still science fiction, and the same is true when it comes to our mental abilities. The free flow and ability to succeed is not the consequence of suppressing negative thinking, it’s the consequence of constructive thinking. There is no chance of innovative thinking when the mind is eating trash.

My experience is the same
Everything is interconnected! And so is the synchronicity of our thoughts, words, emotions and actions, the four key influencers of the human ability to create breakthroughs for our selves. Since 2004 I have relentlessly presented this concept, the “breakthrough now” concept, to people everywhere. My experience is the same: when we accept that we “need” to synchronize those four factors, we open the vault to a set of governing dynamics: we hit a law of nature and the breakthrough is inevitable.

Survival of the fittest
If you emotionally desires the negative news, the negative news will desire your mind, and what your mind is full of is what you fill your life with. And if you try to short cut it by chasing the positive you will activate the game of hunting. What I mean by that demands an explanation: Look at the lion and the gazelle. Life has put them in the game of hunting. When the predator starts hunting the prey will start running. The wind, the conditions of the environment and the circumstances all determine who will eat and who will die. The old fashion claim that life is the survival of the fittest is now “proven” or is it?

Other animals have developed strategies from which we can learn quite a lot. Some animals, when hunted by the predator, “play” dead! What happens to the predator? He gets confused and often he gives up his task of killing. The same game is seen when we chase the success and the here and now circumstances allow the “prey” to get away – we get confused and give up.

What is my point? When you hunt anything, like for example, being right then being right starts running. So when we seek other people by; “don’t you just hate it when” or by being all positive all the time, suppressing negative thoughts, just sending them out the window – well, I guess I made my point.

Synchronicity
In the breakthrough now concept there is a powerful tool of how to stop hunting and start a much more effective way of attracting your prey – is it wealth, happiness, a boyfriend or anything else? The power of synchronising your thoughts, words, emotions and actions is mind-blowing.

If you want to do it – do it now.
